Aeolic

The facility is equipped with all systems and instrumentation to carry out characterization of small wind turbines (with vertical and horizontal axis) with a maximum diameter of 2 meters. Tests inlcude performance validation, Wi-Fi strain gauge system, optimization of the inverter power curve and calculation of the power coefficient (Cp). A Vortex generator can be used to increase the turbulence level within the test chamber.
